Hi

First licensed in1963 as a C-license amateur ( max 10W CW on 40 and 80M ). The person who got me in amateur radio was my father SMZF who received his

license in 1927 from  His Royal the King of Sweden Gustav V He later got the call SM3ZF. I still have his old logbooks and photos of his homebuild station.

Outside Hamming I have worked as an Air Trafic Controller at the center at Arlanda airport but later got into flying for a domestic carrier called Linjeflyg flying

F-28 and B-737- . Indeed a fine company which was bought by SAS in 1992. I continued to fly for SAS  ( B-737 and Airbus ) until retirement . After retirement

I worked as a flight instructor ( Airbus )  for a british company until 2011.

Spending my time between Sweden and USA where our kids/grandkids live. We consider Colorado Springs as our US homebase from which I use my US call W0DN.

I am also into Amateur astronomy trying to take CCD photos of nebulosa´s and galaxies . Colorado with it´s dark sites and good weather  is a great place for that
