Started with ham radio in 1973 as SWL SP1-8545. First licence in 1975 - SP1HXC Break in ham radio activity between 1981-87. Back on the bands in april 1997 as SQ1EIK. From 11.07.1998 changed callsign for SP1NY. Prefering CW, contesting and DX-ing. Proffessional: ex ship' radioofficer, later working as electronic/electrician officer onboard of various type of vessels worldwide. In 2008 quit sailing after 25 years at sea.

Presently I'm running small guest house during summer seasons.
