There are several ways to search the database. To find a particular callsign, just enter it into the box
and click the Search button.
Several other search options are available. They are:
- Search by Call Sign - enter a callsign into the box,
such as: W1AW,
W1AW/MM, VP4/W1AW, etc.
- Search by Name - enter a name into the box,
such as: John Smith
- Search by Zip Code - enter a Zip Code into the box,
such as: 28562
- Search by State - enter a State Code into the box,
such as: MT
- Search by Grid Square - enter grid: followed by a Grid Square Locator into the box,
such as: grid: EM29oo
- Search by US County - enter county: followed by a County name into the box,
such as: county: Jefferson
Notes:
Callsigns with slashes (/) - When entering a callsign with a slash, such as XX1XX/P, the database will return the XX1XX record. Likewise, if VP3/XX1XX is specified, the XX1XX record will be returned. When two or more callsigns are separated by slashes, all matching callsigns will be returned as a list.
Certain combinations are allowed. For example, to look for people named Jones in the state of Kentucky, use: JONES KY for your search.
Punctuation is ignored and that upper/lower case is treated as the same.
If you get too many results in a search, narrow it by adding additional words.
