Chlemoutsi~Χλεμούτσι is the most prominent landscape near my QTH.
That's exactly what we mean when we say "the big blue"…

Fiskardo~Φισκάρδο is a very picturesque little harbour in Kefallinia~Κεφαλλονιά
Lighthouses are spread all along the Greek coastline.

Well, as you can imagine, this is my Ham "desk", aka "My Shack".
My shack is like the public opinion:
It changes day after day…
The new kid in town: Ten Tec Omni VII
aka: the rig doing all the "donkey work" on HF
For /p ops i usually take along the IC-7000
Special arrangements need to be made (extra fan, for example)
to avoid cooking the "one size fits all" ICOM rig…
Once you get bitten by the "Lo-Fi SSB" virus, there is no way out.
I ended up becoming a Behringer fan for the simple reason that
Behringer delivers THE most cost effective audio stuff…
TheBehringer B-1 Large Diaphragm Condenser Mic is often used in my shack
When there is need for extra juice, a solid state linear amplifier comes into play.
It is the RPA-100OB (proudly made in Greece by a GreekHam)
There are many interesting features in it. What i really like most, though,
is the fact that it is fully remotely operated. The only box that has to be near the shack
is the remote unit, shown below
As i mentioned above, there is a linear amplifier readilly available to help me bust a pile up
But then, who matches the Transceiver and the Line /antenna ?
The answer is Palstar AT2K (it's a manual tuner, and i love it for that)
(The laptop, in addition to logging, is used to CAT-control the Omni VII)
Antenna-talk: As of February 26th, 2013 the HF antenna that is being used
is a MV-10 multi-band vertical (made by Sandpiper).
Compared to my previously installed G5RV, this one is more CC&R-friendly, at the expense of lower efficiency.
However, this antenna IF properly set (thanks to the RigExpert antenna analyzer), can give lot of excitement (DX-wise).
For serious listeners a state-of-the-art receiver is required.
AOR-8600 is an excellent, cost-effective choice
(also useful for listening to music while ragchewing 
)
You can often catch me operating either as "SV4NYZ/AM" {over the entire Hellenic Airspace but only VHF/FM} or "SV2/SV4NYZ" {usually on 40m digi+phone and 2m/70cm} from the Region of Macedonia, Greece.
My shack @ Edessa, the first capital of Macedonia.
Its frugal and "expeditionary" nature becomes obvious, i guess
Antennas are a vertical X-30N (v/uhf) and a coil-loaded EH for 40m.
(needless to say that irun these rigs barefoot…)
More specifically, my "SV2/" QTH is located in the center of Edessa (Grid Locator: KN10at), a town with a long history (no wonder!) Most important milestone is that ancient Edessa (Αιγές) was the first capital of Macedonia, playing a pivotal role in the whole region (including Vergina/Βεργίνα, Pella/Πέλλα and other). Literally every stone here has a story to tell and history counterfeiters can find all the answers they've been looking for (or pretending they are looking for.) This place is so full of History that simply there is no space left to "add" more, by "inventing"or forging "events"…
I know that the following phrase might sound a bit "stereotype",
but it just happens that i …fully endorse it:
"The QSL is the ultimate courtesy of a QSO"
Having said that, take a -helpfull, i hope- look below:
QSL (how to…)
The following are guidelines concerning my QSL policy.
1. I like very much
receiving & sending PAPER QSL cards (call me old-fashioned !)
2. I prefer the DIRECT way, for it is -by far- faster and more reliable 
3. If you choose to QSL directly, send me an e-mail (SV4NYZ@arrl.net) asking my full mail address.
Once you get a reply, just fill-in your QSL card, put it in an envelope and post it 
4. There is NO NEED for you to send me SASE, IRCs, Green Stamps, money, diamonds, pearls, nickels, bonds, well, you name it. A SAE would be much appreciated BUT is definitely NOT needed.

THE FACT THAT YOU PAY YOUR SHARE BY SENDING ME (DIRECTLY) YOUR QSL CARD IS -more than- ENOUGH. I find a bit exasperating to ask another ham (who,most likely has already paid his share by sending his QSL card to ME) to pay AGAIN, in order to get MY QSL card.
{ But again, maybe i am the one who is wrong ! }
NOTE:
If YOU ASK other hams to send YOU contribution, THEN I EXPECT from you (be consistent with YOUR ideas, folks) to do the THE EXACT SAME THING: To send ME the SAME CONTRIBUTION YOU ASK FROM OTHERS.
5. Of course, QSL via the BUREAU is also fine ( call me -once again- old fashioned) yet sloooooooooower
