Hi, thanks for that QSO or your just surfing the net, as you can see and read from above, those are my working condictions. I've been interested / worked in the electromagnetic waves, for over 40+ years. Give me the old bottles, (valves) pots and cans with the alloy chassic anytime, to me you got more fun bending ,shaping and drilling the chassic, plenty of smoke, shocks and kicks ( OUCH!! ) in those days. Hi Hi. It was good craic then, also i belive in a good clean QSO and abide the DX Code Of Conduct. Anything else i will not work you.
I was a member of the Y. M. C. A. Radio Club, Gi6YM for many years until it closed its doors for the last time. That was a sad evening.
Respect the other Radio operator as there's a saying,
IT'S NICE TO BE IMPORTANT,
BUT IT'S MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE.
Have patience, it could be there first time on the airwaves, don't knock ones confidience on or off the airwaves,
Remember you'r time when you first pushed that PTT to talk or that CW key, WELL!!!!!!!
We should lead and help each other in the hobby, we're all brother and sisters, and we're still learning each day.
Do not let the flame of our hobby go out, keep the flame burning
So remember, the new operator of today
Is the Radio operator of tomorrow.
Let us all play radio together.
Yo Steve, just like the old days bruv.
Burning the midnight oil, DX'ing and coffee.
Steve, Gi4RNP, been my wing man from college days, over 40+ years and still good buds.
