Special Event Station to Commemorate the 57th Regiment Martyrs who lost their lives in Canakkale War.

Canakkale Savaslarinda sehit olan 57.Alayi anmak icin calisacak olan ozel gun istasyonu.

Since the 57th Regiment fell while in combat with the ANZAC troops, any contacts with VK / ZL will be much more appreciated. Both sides lost many lives in this nonsense war started by other countries, and any contacts between TA/TC and VK/ZL on this special day will be a show of friendship against the war!

Detailed info about the Canakkale war is at the website. Hope to hear you on the air. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ANZAC_Day

Please DO NOT send any qsl cards! All the logs are uploaded to LoTW and eqsl.cc .

If you are not in the log, you are not in the log. Sorry about that!

We do not need any hardcopy qsl cards but we qsl 100% via the bureaus.

The cards are distributed at the Friedrichshafen Messe at the end of June every year.

If you are in a hurry please send a SASE and IRC (new type) or 2 GS to POB 73 Karakoy adress.?

All other requests will be returned via bureau.

It is the first time a Special Event Station from TA has recieved these two prestigious awards. Many thanks to all those operators (on both sides of the signal / antenna) who made it possible to get these awards. May the souls of those Martyrs rest in peace! Without their sacrifice there would not be a TA / TC prefix possible!?
