Since age 1 year I live with my family in Simferopol city, Ukraine, EX-USSR. I became an SWL in 1986 and in 5 years received QSL's from all DXCC countries except VK0H & ZL9. In may 1991 I was first licensed as UB4JLF and in 1993 get UB2JQ call. I have completed the 5B-DXCC in 1993. In january 1994 I have received a new call UU2JQ. Now I have more then 335 DXCC countries confirmed on each of the 3 bands: 40m, 20m, 15m; more then 330 countries on 17m; more then 325 countries on 30m and 10m, 319 countries on 80m and 12m, 287 countries on 160m. I have DXCC-H.R.#1, 5B-WAZ (200 zones), 5B WAS, WAZ-160 (40 zones), WAZ-WARC-CW & WAZ-WARC-SSB (40 zones) awards. I need to work 1 more country (KP1) to complete DXCC-H.R. #1 SSB and 1 more (P5) to complete DXCC-H.R. #1 CW. In digital modes I have 316 DXCC countries confirmed. I do like to collect IOTA islands and now I have IOTA-750 plaque with 950 shield and 975 IOTAs confirmed by QSLs.
I wish to say sincere thanks to Andy/KZ1L (SK), Chris/KG6AR, Ralph/K2PF, Frank/VE7DP, Kou/JA6UBK, Anatoly/UU7JM, Anatoly/UU7JC for their kind help and support with DXCC, WAZ and IOTA awards/plaques submitions, QSL-requests for the DX-stations and for the great help to our contest station! I like both DX-ing and contesting. I'm a member of the Crimean contest team UU5J (UU5A). We have won many contests during 1994-1999. Especially it was a pleasure to won IARU HF Championship in 1995 (year of the 100-th anniversary of the radio) and WAE DC CW in 1996,1997. After millenium time to time I'm participating in the major contests with my friends in Kerch from BIG Contest position UU7J and the results are quite high. I am the award manager of The Crimea and Simferopol awards. "The Crimea" award is full color 192mm x 281mm and available for all radioamateurs and SWL's.

There are no band or mode restrictions and QSL's are not required. Fee for each award are 7 IRC's or 5 US $ or 5 Euro.
