I was born 06.06.1954, in the city of Izmail, in the southern Bessarabia, in a family of radio operators. Possibly, it became the basic in my hobby of radio.

To me was years 12 when I constructed the first receiver on transistors …

But my main desire was to become the radio operator ….

When I studied at technical school, in 1970 I became the operator of club station UK5FAC, and started to study the CW, and to carry out the first radio communications.

Yrij Altxansrjvskij, (now UA0LCC), Victor Kalashnikov (ex UB5BZ, then UT3FM now SK), Roman Rusakovskij (ex UB5FAG now SK) were my teachers that time.

In 1971 I obtained the first license as the HAM , and a call sign of RB5FBD, only for VHF ranges because in ex USSR, to have the license HF, it was necessary to have age of 18 years

After obligatory service in the Soviet army, in 1976, I obtained HAM license 3 classes, on HF, and call sign UB5FAС, then there was license 2 classes and in 1993 I obtained license of 1 class and call sign UX4FC.

For communications with HAMs now, I use ICOM- 738 or YEASU- 857D, and various aerials (now DELTA LOOP-3,5; DIPOLE-3,5:7,0:10,0; 2elQQ-18: 24,; CUSHCRAFT X7-14: 21: 28: 7el beam DK7ZB - 144 and 430 mhz).

I prefer to use CW, sometimes SSB, and absolutely sometimes DIGITAL modes

I am the happy husband, and is grateful to my wife of RAISA, which supports me in my hobby more than 40 years.

and, I am the happy father and the grandfather. The son - ANATOLIJ (now UR5FAC) and the daughter of EKATERINA please me with two grandsons and one granddaughter (I hope, it isn't final HI, HI).

As the radio fan, I is grateful to you for our QSO, and I hope to have pleasure from a new meeting

Radio - forever!

Thanks, 73, Victor, UX4FC
