Licensed as VE7EIE in 1982, VE7ASK in 1989 and added VA7ST in 2002.

I use VA7ST in contests, which is my primary operating mode these days.

I operate CW, RTTY, and some SSB contesting. I enjoy CW and RTTY contests with modest success (and a few good outings).

See my contest activity

Station equipment includes an FT-2000, FT-920, a TS-430S backup, a 3-element Steppir at 45' on a rotating tower, 2-element quad for 40M and a 3-element triangular vertical array for 80M, a 160M inverted-L (80' tall, 45' horizonal), and a Hygain 18AVT/WB vertical with a handful of buried radials, and various other wire antennas.

Check my website at http://www.va7st.ca for the latest info.

Hope to work you, if I haven't already. See you on the air!
