The photograph is a view of some of the equipment operated by members of the Mission Amateur Radio Emergency Servcice and is located in the Mission EOC communications centre. The station on the left is the 11 meter (CB) station. Beside that is an Icom vhf/uhf tranceiver and an Icom 706 HF radio. Just outside of the picture on the right side of the amateur station is the Search and Rescue station which employs an Icom commercial tranceiver, switchable between an omni and beam antenna, and an air band tranceiver. Also in the room are Icom commercial tranceivers that are programmed for Public Works, Fire and RCMP (police). The club meets in the communications centre every third Monday of the month at 19:30h.
