AS of the end of April 2012 I have posted out cards via Bureau for ALL QSO's.

Thanks to everyone that worked us during the Jamboree. Many of you spent lots of hours on your end of the mike so that the Scouts that came through had someone to talk to. Many of you also spent hours trying to get us in your log. THANKS. Because of your effort we were able to count the Ham Radio at the Jamboree a Huge Success!!
We finished off with just under 1500 q's in the log

Thanks again for all your effort to work us and to talk with the Scouts that came in to the shack. 73's Craig

Thank you for working VI2AJ2010. This Jamboree from January 4-14 2010 at Cataract Scout Park in Appin, NSW, is bringing over 13,000 Scouts and Leaders together from around Australia for10 daysof learning and adventure.

Check out the article on the WIA website to see what is going on with Amateur radio at the Jamboree. http://www.wia.org.au/newsevents/news/2010/20100110-1/index.php

There is a VERY GOOD chance that the operator you worked did not have a license or has never even heard of Ham Radio.

Hopefully the contact you  made will be the first step of introducing someone to all that Ham Radio can offer and might encourage them to get a license!!

Thanks again for your contact and your patience.

If you would like to check if your qso made it in our log click on the following link.http://www.clublog.org/logsearch.php  Type in VI2AJ2010 in the log to search box, then type your call in callsign to check box

If you would like a QSL card please QSL via VK2KDPdirect (with a SAE, 1 IRC, $2 US, VK hams only need SASE) or via the Bureau. We will also be uploading all our contacts to LOTW. If you would like to make a donation to help cover the costs and continue to help upgrade the faciliites at the Scout Park, you can include an extra greenstamp or two with your QSL card.

The Members of the Fishers Ghost Amateur Radio Club VK2FFG (www.fgarc.org) would like to thank all the volunteers and individual and Corporate sponsors that have provided financial assistance or equipment donations to upgrade the radio Shack at the Scout Park:

PY2KW, Nelson Pala was a phys. ed. teacher at Avare' C.E.E.N.Cel. Joao Cruz High School. He eventually became the principal and was admired by parents and students. He taught me and other students the first steps of marching band, volleyball and in the art of Ham Radio.
