Thanks for stopping by,a little about myself.I am married and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren ,my main hobbies include Ham Radio, Contests, Fishing,and building antennas.
I was first licenced in 1994 with VK2NPH and updated to VK2HV in 1996,my achievments include DXCC on 28Mhz, 21Mhz, 14Mhz, and 7Mhz
I also have DXCC,WAS,WAZ,WAC,WAVK,WAJA Awards,most of which were with my previous call sign.I mainly operate on 28Mhz, around 28.520 and also 50.110.
AX2000 operation 8th May till 14th May 2000 :- Worked. All Continents, 68 DXCC Countries, and 25 Zones.Total Qso's 1,236. QSL Manager is VK2PS
CQWW DX Contest 2000 results :- #4 Australia with 437 Contacts,68 Multipliers and 27 Zones worked on 28Mhz, Low Power,SSB only ( SOSB )

My QTH is Maitland with a population of around 75,000 and is nestled in the Hunter Valley of NSW in the best Wine area in Australia.

PY2KW, Nelson Pala was a phys. ed. teacher at Avare' C.E.E.N.Cel. Joao Cruz High School. He eventually became the principal and was admired by parents and students. He taught me and other students the first steps of marching band, volleyball and in the art of Ham Radio.
