First licenced in 1968 as OK2PAL in my old country Czechoslovakia. Here in Australia I had a call of VK2NEK, then VK2BTA, VK2BT and now since Christmas 2003 I am VK2PN. I also hold VK9PN and OK8PN callsigns.
Last few years I've gravitaded to CW operations, my greatest passion. I've entered a few CW contests and found it very good fun. Now being retired I have the time to play radio.
Operating mostly CW mode but some days digital. I'm on PSK31 but above all I love Olivia. Last few years I've been playing with JT65 (using the brilliant program JT65-HF)
The best digital mode is of course Pactor 1, 2 and 3.
27/02/2012 My LoTW and eQSL are up to date. All outstanding paper QSL cards been sent to VK2 bureau.
If you need a card, please email me and I'll QSL sap.
I've started a blog on: http://vk2pn.blogspot.com.au to document the "daily grind".
DX expedition to VK9 Lord Howe island is over and we had very good time. Miro OK1NG and I thank you for giving us a call.
We hope that you had too. The time on the island was not long enough to work all stations who wanted to work us. Maybe next time.
My little collection of Morse paddles and keys
I'm a member of Manly Warringah Radio Society in Terrey hills Sydney. Please visit our site: http://www.mwrs.org.au
