Current Location is HILLSIDE, which is 25km North West of Melbourne. We are on just over half an acre, right on the edge of the greater Metropolitan Area.

Also have a 40 Acre farm situated at GREEN HILL, 80km North West of Melbourne. Planning to set up a contest station there in the future with Russell VK3EZ.The base for a 100'plus tower has been prepared.

I have 3 TOWERS which are waiting to be errected at my home QTH, which will house a number of antenna. I am looking at placing a 6 band Quad for 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m & 10m.

Currently, operating with a Verticle for 80m, 40m, 30M, 20m, 17M, 15m, 10m, 2m,70cm and 23cm. I have been a bit slow at putting up these towers, lets all hope that I get them up soon.

Additional Equipment for DU8

A 2 element 40m Yagi has arrived at my DU8 QTH. I am awaiting for the arrival of a 5 element tribander also to arrive from Cagayan de Oro

This will trigger the construction of a 100-125' tower to house the antennas. On my next trip I will be adding an FT-1000MP MkV fully optioned to be the main rig with the FT-857D becoming the stand-by rig.

An additional amplifier has been purchased for HF to go with the FT-1000MP MkV.

After looking at the proposed station in DU8 I have decided to install a stacked array for 40m.

I will be looking at building a rotating tower for the above. Also I will be looking at purchasing hill top qth location in DU8 to provide additional coverage to the South, South East and South West.

Additional towers will be installed for other bands.

ATV

ATV Equipment has arrived so start looking out for my pictures to be broadcast over the airwaves.(Amatuer Television from my home QTH). In addition I have aquired a 70W amp for 23cm band to be utilised from the home QTH.
