Hello Visitor.

I have been interested in Radio since I was about10 years old when RayVK3AV a good friend of my dads, showed me his shack and spoke to someone overseas.

So in 2003 my best mate Graham VK3JBO now silent key, sat me down and made me study for my call.

Graham was my best mate and friend on air and off air, we spent some great times together over our 30 years of friendship.

May he rest in peace and god bless him.

Graham got me interested in IRLP in the earlier days, So now I have dedicated IRLP node No 6287 to him in his memory and my repeater VK3RBN.

VK3RBN is located at my QTH in Burrumbeet Victoria Australia. Its on 70cm 438.350 -5.0000 offset and a ctcss of 91.5.The antenna is 45ft from ground level using a diamond X-200 dual bander. The repeater is two simoco blocks (srm 9000) .Max output of 20 watts. It is powered by a 12v battery, which a solar panel charges.

I also have now a IRLP Node 6287 and EchoIRLP Node 290511 (VK3RBN) located at my QTH.

The operating hours for the node are between 5.30am to 1.00am EST 24/7.

The node now has got a access code. Please email me for access code.

Here's a glance at the node's status

When AUX 3 light is on VK3RBN is operational
