First licensed in 1966 as VK3ZXW (no-code licence). Upgraded with 13WPM CW in 1982 with VK3BGW and obtained VK3VT a couple of years later.

Interested in many aspects of amateur radio including contesting, DXing, homebrew, foxhunting and ARDF (radio orienteering)

Current station is Elecraft K3, SPE Expert 2K-FA and 5element tribander with dipole for 40 and 80. Picture shows the tower with antennas at sunset.

Have assisted the NERG in training and assessing new licensees since 1983. Appointed a WIA accredited assessor in 2004.
