9 element yagi 2M at 80 feet.

TH3Jrr at 76 feet.

9M2WL (1989) at 71 feet with which I have worked 100 countries on 6m CW since 1992.

RECENT 2M QSOS by TROPO @ 2765 KM

QSOS LAST SUMMER VIA ES SKIP to SOUTH ISLAND ZL3

I was first licenced as VK3ZAZ in 1968 and held the call until upgrading in 1976 to VK3BIZ when I passed the morse code test

I was issued with VK3OT in July 1976.

STATION DETAILS:

2M station is a 9 element M2 at 80 feet, an IC706 and an RF Concepts 2-117 linear power amplifier powered by an MFJ 4275 75Amp supply running 175 watts pep output. So far I have worked VK5, VK2 VK4 on Es VK6 and VK3 using this station. I only need a VK8 qso to complete my 2M WAS, VK1-VK7were workedand confirmed over 34 years ago.

My 6M station is a FT2000D and an AR2 gasfet preamp, backed up by a YAESU FT950, driving into a solid state converted LARCANBand 1 FET Linear Amplifier and a 9 element M2 2WL series one yagi, exhibiting 12db gain.

During the current cycle VK3ZAZ has re-worked stations in Florida, Illinois, Washington, Arizona, Mexico, Central America and California and has confirmed QSOs over the 4 periods of operation since CY 21 in 1979 with W6 CA, W7 AZ, W4 FLand XE1 Mexico regions of North America.

The dx worked may stand as the furthest dx from SE VK into the USA this cycle the way it is shaping up especially to K9HMB Harvard Illinois, who I have worked over 2 cycles now.
