Thanks for dropping by I live in St George, a small rural town in southern Queensland on the doorstep to the outback, our town has a strong agricultural base, many types of crops thrive on rich alluvial flood plain soils from the Balonne river a part of Australia's longest river system.I am married to Amy and have two young boys Jed(6) and Tom(3) and work in the transport industry carting produce and equipment out of and around the area, we aslo have lifting cranes which i put big yagi on, usually for contests and field days. My interests include working DX on the higher bands, but enjoy 10m the most with its wide range of propagation modes and have built several long boom yagi over the last couple of years for this band, also run a small Multi 1 contest station with my good mate andrew VK4NM
