Oceania Contest 2014 (First weekend of October)

My favourite contest of the year.  Once again we will be operating from St George in Western Queensland.  Entering Multi Single with my good friend Peter VK4LAT.  Below are some pictures of our station.

Peter Working on the 5 over 5 stack for 15m

Aerial shot of the Big Gun (8 element on 60' boom for 10m)

Our Shack - we run off generated power for all contests

Thank you for visiting my QRZ site. I have been licensed since 2006 but have been involved in Radio Communications since I was 13 years old (1991). I was first licensed as VK4FREQ then 3 months later upgraded my license and changed my call to VK4HMU. In August 2007 I changed my callsign to VK4HAM and on March 18th 2011 upgraded my license once again and received the callsign VK4NM.

The main focus of my hobby is contesting and I enjoy entering a few of the major contests throughout the year. I prefer entering multi operator contests as I believe it is more enjoyable. I do this from various locations around VK4.
