Thank you for visiting my QRZ site. I have been licensed since 2006 but have been involved in Radio Communications since I was 13 years old (1991). I was first licensed as VK4FREQ then 3 months later upgraded my license and changed my call to VK4HMU. In August 2007 I changed my callsign to VK4HAM and on March 18th 2011 upgraded my license once again and received the callsign VK4NM.

Pictured below is my "home" station.

5 Element on 10m

4 element (LFA) on 15m

3 Element on 20m

Vertical on 40m

Dipole on 80m

The main focus of my hobby is contesting and I enjoy entering a few of the major contests throughout the year. I prefer entering multi operator contests as I believe it is more enjoyable. I do this from various locations around VK4.

Pictured below are some shots of our contest station (run with VK4LAT)

10m - 8 Element (60'boom)

15m - 6 over 6 elements stacked

20m - 3 element Yagi

40m - 2 element Yagi and Vertical

80m - Full Wave Vertical Loop

10m Antenna (above)

(Above) Peter - VK4LAT between the 15m stack (before they were changed to 6 elements).  The caravan on the left is our shack, we only run generated power from this site.

QSL's are done via my manager M0OXO.

My other hobbies include Golf, XC Mountain Bike Riding and Four Wheel Driving
