I am 60 years old and am retired. I served in the Royal Australian Air Force for 26 years as an Avionics Technician and discharged in 1997 with the rank of Warrant Officer. I then worked in the Queensland State Government in various roles and retired in February 2011.

I obtained my Restricted amateur license in 1978 and obtained the Advanced license in 1979. Because of the postings I had during my service in the RAAF I have held many callsigns including 9M2RW from 1979 to 1981. I enjoy CW and some digital modes. I also like to work QRP. I have a modest antenna set up using a modified all band doublet and a 10M/6M vertical antenna.
