The Barossa Amateur Radio Club opperate a 2m FM repeater 146.825, input 146.225, which is permenantly cross linked with a 70 cm repeater on 438.425, input 433.425. Along with serving the needs of the local amateurs the repeaters, are a favourite with dxers, when conditions prevail. The club is happy to announce that thier new 6m beacon is now operational on a frequency of 50.315 mhz from atop Mt Kitchener, 580 meters ASL running 12watts into a horizontal halo antenna, RST reports are encouraged via email or qsl card via the bureau.
