The Barossa Amateur Radio Club operate a 2m FM repeater 146.825, input 146.225, atop of Mt Kitchener, 580 meters ASLin the Barossa Valley. Along with serving the needs of the local amateurs the repeater is a favourite with dxers, when conditions prevail. Please note that the 70cm repeater that was linked to the 2m repeater has now been decommissioned. The club also run a 6m beacon at the same site on a frequency of 50.315 mhz running 12watts into a horizontal halo antenna, RST reports are encouraged via email or qsl card via the bureau.
