Licensed as VK7FCBH in March 2006 under the new Foundation Class, I have now completed the REAST standard License Upgrade Course. I passed my standard license upgrade on 16/11/2007, and now hold the call VK7HCH from 7/12/2007. My next step is to upgrade to advanced.

Current equipment on HF bands is an Icom IC-746PRO into a Western HF-10 Multiband Dipole. I am also starting to play on 2m SSB with this radio, via a 7 element cubical quad.

Backup HF is a Yaesu FT707 lineup. (FT-707, FP-707, FC-707)

For QRP operation and a bit of nostalgia, I have a Yaesu FT-7

SSTV is covered by an Icom IC-725 Into a 20m dipole via an Icom AH-4

PSK31 is operated on 20m via a Small Wonders Labs PSK20 kit running 2 Watts into a multiband vertical.

On 2m/70cm  I use an Icom IC-208H feeding a dualband J-Pole (VK5AHRC design).

10m is covered by a President HR2510 into a 10m vertical. Listen on 28.460 USB.

I have an aprs encoder running in the car, lookup vk7hch-9 to see where the car is.

For portable use I have an Wouxon KG-UVD1P and an Icom IC-T90A
