My Radio Shack. YAESU FT-1000MP,FT-990,FT-890AT,FT-840,FT-757GX.Top performers for their time. Many more yaesu radios and gadgets out of photo shot.
The 4 element T.E.T EMTRON beam being put together after being not used for 2 years. The antenna has 4 elements on 10m, 4 on 15m, 4 on 20m,and 3 elements on 40 metres, in a dual drive, driven and reflector configuration.
The broadband home brew hex beam, copy of k4kio's version and it really works well and highly recomended for a small back yard install with great results. Notice the angle aluminium on the cross arms at the centre. Its not the normal base plate that normally would be used. The angle aluminium was left over from an old quad antenna. Never throw out old odd bits. And the spreaders are made from wooden coated dowl with 20mm P.V.C pipe for the last 2 feet for the easy bend upwards. And the total build time 3 hours, and it just wanted to work while on the ground, 5/9 signals. And this antenna has been up in the air for 3 years now with no trouble.
