VK9XM:

VK9XM was activated by Pekka, OH1TV and Pekka, OH2YY on Oct. 6-12, 2012. The activity covered bands 7 to 50 MHz, both SSB and CW. The equipment included two K3's, 2-el yagis for 18 and 24MHz, a 2-el tribander for 14, 21 and 28MHz, a 3-el yagi for 50MHz and a 1/4 vertical for 7MHz. The propagation favored 18 to 28 MHz, but the 2-3 last days were fairly good also for 14MHz and 7 MHz. 50MHz was well open to Asia and Pacific. QSL via Pekka Ahlqvist, OH2YY, Vapaalanpolku 8B, 01650 Vantaa, Finland or SRAL QSL bureau.

All the VK9XM QSL cards have now been sent to the SRAL QSL bureau for distribution. You should receive your card in next few weeks. Direct cards for both 2011 and 2012 activity naturally still available. Pekka, OH2YY

QSO's of both 2011 and 2012 trip can be checked by using the Club Log service below

Last year VK9XM was activated by Pekka, OH2YY on Nov. 10-11, 2011. Compared to the original plan, the trip was cut short because of rescheduling of flights due to bad weather.
