VP5D is now a contest call, however, the original resident VP5D was quite active during the 70s & 80s, especially on 6 meters. It is my understanding he left VP5-land many years ago and I do not know his current whereabouts. I can only confirm contacts made during my operations from TCI beginning in December, 2005. However, W3HNK was the manager for the original VP5D so you might ask Joe if he would be able to confirm older VP5D contacts.

All VP5D QSOs will also be uploaded to the ARRL Logbook of the World.
