Ham Member Lookups: 2020

Bangalore Amateur Radio Club - VU2ARC formed in 1959 has become one of the oldest and most active Hobby Clubs of India. Every month on the Second Sunday the members meet at Bharat Scouts & Guides - Karnataka State HQ @ 1800 Hours, where the monthly newsletter VU2ARC is released, The club has been conducting Field Days, Fox Hunts, Workshops to make antennas, kits and has been giving demonstration to School/College/Adventure Groups.

Emergency Communication Action Plan / Disaster Management Plans have been submitted to Bangalore Urban DC and VU2ARC is proud to be laision with Karnataka State DCs as Amateur (Ham) Radio Emergency Communication provider.

The Club has been volunteering for several Emergency Communication and Disaster Services which India has faced - recent ones as Gujarat Earthquake, Orissa Mahanadhi Flooding, Orissa Super Cyclone. This Club is not funded/aided by Central, State Governments or any NGO's and has no Employees, Office - thus calling as Amateurs(Hams) Truly the NON-COMMERCIAL HOBBY CLUB run by only Volunteers.
