VU3KRZ left for his heavenly abode on 07.06.2012 at 18:00 pm (Indian Standard Time) after a prolonged illness.

He was  a mentor and a  Guru to many Hams .

You will not find  a kind, jovial and modest person like him.

May GOD bless  him and his Soul  Rest In Peace.

Dear friends,

It gives me immense pleasure to meet you online

I am an old timer having operated on 40m. and 20m. on a BEL524 Transceiver, which had a modified VFO for the Ham bands.

You can curently find me active on VHF through the Idukki repeater (VU2HEN) 145.100 +shift or the Palghat repeater ( VU2BCM) 145.650 - shift .

Here's a Newspaper article which appeared in the Malayalam Daily - Manorama on 21.10.2010. It elaborates on my contribution to Ham radio and heralding the communication revolution at Idukki district in Kerala state.

vu3krz with Cabinet Minister C. Stephen in 1983

With Cabinet Minister - the late Mr. C.M.Stephen during his visit to Idukki, giving a demo on Ham radio Operations and the requirement of a Microwave tower at Idukki for enhancing telephone and public communications. It goes on record that within 6 months, the cabinet Minister, Mr C.M Stephen paved the way for the installation of the first Microwave tower at Idukki in 1983.

My alternate QTH is at " Karimpanakkal House, Ramakrishnapadi, Lakkidi Post, Palghat District, Kerala". This is close to Ottapalam and can be reached by the public bus service route between Ottapalam and Thiruvilwamala.
