QSL processing update[April 26, 2014]:

The OQRS direct requests received till March 8th has already been dispatched and most should have received the

VU7AG QSL. Some Russian/Japanese letters were returned undeliverable. We will sort this matter and re-send the mail.

Paper QSL requests for domestic US was also cleared out till March 8th.

We processed QSL requests until March 8th, prior to departing for VU4K operation.

About 150 or so International postal requests were also processed and mailed by April 7th.

Another 400 or so international postal requests have been processed and will be mailed out around April 27/28th.

This April 27/28th batch will also include OQRS requests received until April 24th.

Several more international paper requests are getting processed, so that will be flushed out in another week or so.

We will then turn around and work on the OQRS requests that came in after April 24th.

We find that many stations in EU have sent a second postal request during the interim. Our cards were not ready till

mid/late February and to make matters worse, we went away for over 3 weeks to operate VU4K in March. So

my sincere apologies. As always, please use OQRS, if you are not willing to wait.At any rate,

the smart ones emailed me and asked about it prior to attempting to send another letter. I could have saved you

some money. Dupes are more work for me.

At any rate, please watch out and we will post an update again. The goal is to flush out ALL VU7AG QSL requests

in another 3 weeks before heading off to Dayton Hamvention.

Old information:

Please check the expedition website

http://www.vu7ag.info

QSL Info:

Please wait for OQRS to open up at the end of the expedition. You can even request a bureau card via OQRS.

If sending direct, please enclose $3. If you have difficulties sending funds, just write us a note and we will take care of you.

You can even print your QSO's on a piece of paper. This is preferable to you sending multiple QSL cards, one for each of

your QSO. Please save the trees.

If making a donation as a check, it needs to be made payable to "Krishna Kanakasapapathi". Please do not make it payable

to vu7ag dxpedition, since the bank won't let uscash in the check.

Mail qsl requests to W4VKU( Qsl info in QRZ.com)

The QSL card design has not yet commenced, meaning it will be atleast 3 months before the cards will start going out.

However, we plan to upload to Lotw for donors and OQRS requests as a priority ( as soon as the expedition is over).

Direct mail requests with any contributions will also find its way to Lotw, but since the data

is not in electronic form, it will take a few extra days to generate the Adif and upload to Lotw.

US Postal rates are going up again on Jan 2, 2014. First class is going to be $0.49. So, if sending a SASE,
please ensure that there is sufficient postage. The cards will go out sometime in Feb/March 2014.
