At the time of this activation, NA-186 was #1 on the Most Wanted NA IOTA List and #9 World Wide, with 97% of all IOTA members in need of it. The operation lasted 60 hours, which excludes 6 hours of sleep during the second and third night combined. A total of almost 3600 QSOs were made on 20, 30, and 40 m with 2800 different stations from 61 DXCC on 6 continents. About 85% of the contacts were in CW, which I considered more reliable under the existing propagation conditions, the rest in SSB. My transceiver was an IC-7000 with 100W and the antenna a multi-band vertical wire with a 10 m fiberglass telescopic mast. Fox Is. also counts for Canadian Island Award (NT-023).
