First licensed in 1961 in Maryland as K3OPB, have been a six meter nut ever since. After moving to MO in 1970, held call W0NJS until got present call in 1974. In 1993, spent 8 mos operating as VK2GVZ. Like to operate VHF / UHF bands, occasionally found on 10 or 17 meters from mobile station. I like homebrewing gear and restoring old gear when time permits!

I'm an electrical engineer, retired from a defense company where I worked for 26 years. Married, two grown kids, granddaughter - sadly, none have caught the ham bug.
