Hello. I was first licensed in 1962 as WN0BOC. My first rig was a Johnson Ranger and a Hammarlund HQ 110C using a 40 meter dipole on 40 and 15 meters. Man did I have fun on the novice bands with CW. Today I operate AM, SSB, and CW on various bands from 160 to 15 meters and SSB on 6.

My favorite mode is CW but I enjoy vintage equipment and spark aparatus.

Outside of amateur radio I have a great deal of fun with photography (film and paper). I mostly use 4x5 panaramic and an old 8x10 camera. I also dabble in neon tube bending and sign making. I guess it is hard to get away from high voltage! (Pun intended.)

You won't find me chasing DX or contesting although I have worked many foreign stations and had many wonderful rag chews.

(Somehow my coordinates keep changing on various boards. I am at EM 08 uw. I try to keep things updated but it takes watching. The shack is about 12 miles SW of Lincoln, KS)

73 for now.

This is a shot of my three element 80 meter switchable beam. The near tower is 80 ft. It can point either

east or west.

Below is our trike on a Colorado trip.
