Yawn. Haven't done much of anything recently on 6 meters. Turned on the IC706 MarkIIG the other day and made a reply to NY. Found out there was a net going on in the evening on 50.400 AM at 7:00est. Checked it out and could only get a couple people. Oh well. No vertical antenna and didn't want to play swing-the-beam.

Been too busy to do much DX work. Still can't stomach di-di da-da so haven't sat down to upgrade to general class. Maybe some day. Should buy a Round-to-It haha.

Have a nice hame shack as you can see although FCC can't seem to get my zip code correct. I have two mobile rigs (two vehicles - two mobile rigs. One is a 4x4 explorer). I did learn not to go through a car wash without screwing on the mount cap supplied - water gets into the coax and causes no end of swr!! Happens slowly, but it happens!

Left the ARRL. Not real happy with what I'm getting for the price I'm paying. Might go back but the vote is still out on that. Anyway hope everyone is having a goodtime on the air. Heard Voyager is still cherping away at the far end of the galaxy. Happy trails Voyager!!
