First licensed as WN1ETH April 15, 1955 in Brookline, MA. Call changed to W1PR Nov.4, 1996. Moved from western MA to Santa Barbara, CA August, 1994. Former station manager, W1AF, Harvard Wireless Club. Trustee, NN6DX.

Usually hunting DX on SSB, CW, or RTTY. I wish CW ops would not run their characters together. There needs to be a space between characters! What a pleasure it is to listen to correcctly keyed CW.

Sorry, I do not use the QRZ.COM log or eQSL, but I do upload to LOTW and Club Log.

I am an ARRL Volunteer Examiner, so a contact with me is worth 5 points in the ARRL Centennial QSO Party.

Japanese call: JE1LRT, Tokyo. Usually QRV for a month in fall and spring.
