NOTE: Only use the above PO Box address for QSL cards. Anything which is time sensitive should go to my home address.

DO NOT send QSL cards for the W1AW/1 operation from Vermont. QSL requests MUST go to the ARRL. I do not have W1AW/1 cards to send you. Go to:

for details on the Centennial W1AW stations.

All logs have been uploaded to LOTW. All QSL card requests with SASE from January through May of this year have been answered.

W1SJ will be active in the ARRL Centennial QSO Party all throughout 2014. A QSO with W1SJ is worth 100 points (Past Section Manager). I have operated the NA QSO Party, CQ WW 160M and Vermont QSO Party.Look for W1SJ in the ARRL SS CW, 160M Contest and 10M Contest later this year.

Other opportunities to work Vermont:

W1NVT Field Day June 28-29

W1AW/1 week starting August 6.

W1SJ is usually active in the CW Sweepstakes in November, the 160 and 10 meter contests in December and the NAQP CW and Phone in January, the CQ 160 in January and also masquerades as WB1GQR in the Phone Sweepstakes and VHF QSO Parties and is one of the voices heard on W1NVT during Field Day and the Vermont QSO Party.

And sometimes I'm involved in Public Service activities. Occasionally, I'll even ragchew!

***NOTE*** If you worked W1SJ July 13-14, 2013 or July 14-15, 2012, you worked one of the WRTC Test Stations in Massachusetts.

  • The 2013 operation was from Medfield, MA, Norfolk Co, FN42.
  • The 2012 operation was from Mansfield, MA, Bristol Co, FN42.

I will QSL those contacts, but they will only count for MA and NOT VT! All other recent operations are from my home in VT.

QSL and LOTW Info:

QSL with SASE to PO Box 8099, Essex, VT 05451. DX stations please include SASE or $1 postage.

QSLs are generally answered 6 weeks after the contest, typically in January for the Fall Contests. Be sure to get your QSL sent in before that time. Logs are uploaded to LOTW typically a few weeks after the contest or event. Please don't send E-mail reminders - the LOTW uploadswill get done.

73 from W1SJ!
