Picture above is my old QTH in PA (1990-2009).

Picture below is my current condx. The pole is used to display the American flag, as permitted by The Freedom to Display the American Flag Act, 120 Stat. § 572 and CCIOA section 38-33.3-106.5. As I am in a condo, I cannot drill any holes to support it. Therefore, my flagpole is supported by wires which coincidentally are 1/2 λ on 40, 20 and 10m:

Major contest wins:

CQWW CW 2002 & 2005, First Place USA SOA.

ARRL DX CW 2003 & 2007 First Place World SOA.

CQWW RTTY US record SOLP (2002-present) & SOHP (2003-2010)

 

Placed 5th overall in Cat. I in the 8th World High Speed Telegraphy Competition held Sept. 2009 in Obzor, Bulgaria. Received a Silver Medal in the Pile-up (Morserunner) competition.

Placed 5th overall in Cat. I in the 9th World High Speed Telegraphy Competition held Oct 2011 in Bielefeld, Germany. Received a Gold Medal (first in HST history to a non-European) in the Pile-up competition, and a Bronze Medal in RUFZ.

14-21 FEB 2012 Operated as PJ2/W2UP from the PJ2T station. For paper QSLs, direct only with SASE or SAE+US$2. Log has been uploaded to LOTW. I do NOT receive cards from the buro.
