Thanks very much for viewing my record and for the QSO if that is what brought you here.

Please take a moment to sign my guestbook on the Hevener.Org website listed here or feel free to send me an email from the address listed above or via this link.

If you're looking for antenna ideas, designs and / or reviews I also build antennas for a partial living, feel free to peruse my website for software, design ideas etc. The site is also a large repository of resources and references for all things related to HAM Radio. If you need a manual for your radio or amplifier or software to control your rig or to use the various digimodes, please be sure to visit the site, you might just find what you need!

To see if I am currently on the air, please visit my Homepage (http://www.hevener.org) and scroll to the middle. You may have to wait a moment for the script to load but if I am online, it will show you in real-time what frequency I am on and in what mode. Hope to see you there!

STATION:

Radio - Icom IC-706MKIIG for all bands and all modes. Radio is powered by a Pyramid PS-52KX PSU. I use no amplifiers. I also use an Alinco DR-620 T/E for local GMRS Crossbanding for the XYL to stay in touch via her HT. Neat little radio with neat little features that also works wonders as a 2 Meter / 70 CM rig.

Antenna - Homebrew Windom on an LDG IT-100 Auto-tuner for all bands above 30 meters. Check out my website for info regarding this antenna. It is truly one of the best performing wire antennas I have ever used. For 10 thru 30 meters I use a 5/8ths wave, 11 meter, Ground Plane by Sirio (Sirio 827). Another terrific, super performing, built like a tank antenna by one of the best value antenna manufacturers on the planet today. This has turned out to be a wonderful antenna on a tuner for a LOT of bands.
