Thanks for the QSO. My QTH is 25 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been a licensed ham since 1980.My call sign originated in 1939 and belonged to my grandfather who was a ham for 50+ years and was my elmer. The rigs are Yaesu FT950 for digital work and FT2000D for HF. Back up Rigs are Yaesu FT-840 and Kenwood TS 430S.The antennas are a Hy Gain 40-10 meter vertical, a 3 element tri bander at 50 feet atop a Rohn tower and a 500 foot wire loop for 160 which I use on all bands also, through a Nye Viking MB-V-A tuner. An AL 811H is used when needed. I work both CW and Phone. My keyer is a Begali Signature.I run a mobile HF station using a Kenwood TS 480 SAT and various ham sticks.
I am a 1986 graduate of West Virginia University with a degree in Geology. However, coming from four generations of plumbers, I followed in the foot steps and became a licensed master plumber and own a mechanical contracting company in Pittsburgh. I have been involved in the plumbing and mechanical business for 22 years.
If You need my QSL Card just send an SAE and I will return all QSL's promptly. Also use LOTW and bureau.
All the best to you and yours and I hope to see you on the air soon. Best 73, W3ENM, BRAD
