QSL image for W3FT

The Baltimore Amatuer Radio Club is pleased to announce that W3FT will be a sister station for the 13 Colonies special event. We will be on the air from 9 am edt July 1st through July 6th 10pm edt.

For more information on the 13 Colonies Special Event go to www.13colonies.info - Please remember we do NOT count for the state of Maryland for the certificate we are an endorsement.

We are celebrating the bicentennial of the writing of the Star Spangled Banner in Baltimore's Inner Harbor during the War of 1812. The Battle of Baltimore during that war was fought in September 1814. We will be offering a special QSL card. The picture is the 15 star 15 stripe flag actually flying over Ft. McHenry.

QSL Instructions for US Stations:

Please send your QSL with an SASE to the above address. Please write 13 colonies on the back of the outer envelope so we can get it to our QSL manager for the event.

QSL Instructions For DX Stations including Canada:

Please QSL via the buro. All DX contacts including Canada will be sent at the end of the event to the buro. You may qsl direct with sufficient funds to cover return. This is for DX stations only.

For the upcoming events, Field Day and 13 Colonies we have re-arranged the radio room at the club's facility. We removed a table and moved the 3rd table in line with the other. This opens up the radio room for more people to fit comfortably and be able to operate and have a logger. We moved the third table into the meeting room along the wall of the radio room and placed a third station there. Now all we need is more operators.

Station 1 - Yaesu FT-DX3000 with an Ameritron AL-811H amp.

Station 2 - Kenwood TS-2000 with an Ameritron AL-811H amp.

Station 1 and 2 - the Kenwood TS-2000 is at the bottom of the photo.

Station 3 - Yeasu FT-897 and an Ameritron AL-811 amp.
