First licensed as K2GLQ from Morristown NJ in 1953, I have been active ever since. CW is my first love, but found that I could, on occasion, talk without getting my tongue twisted on the mike. Graduated from University of Delaware and received an MFA degree in Scenic Design for Theatre and TV from Carnegie Tech (Now Carnegie Mellon) in Pittsburgh. Assistant designer of original "Man of La Mancha" broadway production in 1967. Toured extensively throughout the world as theatrical lighting designer and technical director and operated from many exotic locations including DU, JA, 9M, HL, VK, LU, etc. etc.

Taught at Brandeis University in Mass (W1FJN), University of Missouri, Middlebury College in VT. and retired from Penn State University which is where the W3HDH originates. Now, practice architectural design in Illinois while XYL teaches at Univ of Illinois.

Was coordinator of the Pennsylvania QSO Party from about 1973 until 2000 (with some time off for good behavior!)

Primary interest is in DX, contests, and 6 meters.
