Ex: K3AON W8GPE W5UOS HANDLE "ART" On the air since 7/7/1957 as KN3AON on Lewistown Pa. Enlisted in the ARMY and was trained as RADR tech at Ft. Monmouth N.J. Signal School. After my service I was employed at the Air Force Guidance and Metrology Labs at Newark AFS Heath Ohio ( 63-73). Tested and repaired the guidance systems on the TITAN II and the Minute I,II,III. Moved to Holloman AFB White Sands Missle Range Alamogordo N.M. Worked in the High Speed Sled Test section of the Central Inertial Gudiance Test Facilities. I was a technican doing guidance testing and telemetery on high speed sleds .(73-78) I transfered to the Federal Aviation Administration and went back to fixing RADARS , Air Traffic trackling computers, Communication equipment and in 91 became manager of the Fort Smith System Service Center Fort Smith Ar. I retired on January 3, 2001. After retirement I worked for several contractors to FAA working on RADAR and Automation equipent. Finally hung it up in March 2012 and retired to 20 meters. Along the way I had the call of W8GPE in Heath Ohio, W5UOS in Alamogordo where I was the Alamogordo Amateur Radio Club President.
