CHANGING THE REPEATER FROM IRLP/ECHOLINK TO ALLSTAR

Note: when not connected to a node, the repeater should be left at rest in the IRLP/Echolink - ready state.

DTMF codes to toggle between IRLP/EchoLink and AllStar:

(Note, please disconnect from any nodes before you toggle to a different system)

Switch to AllStar - ready state: enter D333

Switch to IRLP/Echolink - ready state: enter D336

After D333 you will hear a 2-tone beep, low to high.

After D336 you will hear a 2-tone beep, high to low.

If the repeater is in use, you will not hear these tones until after it is quiet.

To see what state the system is in:

111 will give message only  if in IRLP/Echolink - ready state

*511 will give message only if in AllStar - ready state

If you get nothing for either code, try the toggle codes above to set the state

This will also help you tell if you if the switch is on the IRLP or the AllStar side:

In IRLP, there is no extra courtesy tone other than the usual repeater coutesy tone (which is pretty loud).

In AllStar, there are 2-3 extra beeps that you will hear as courtesy tones.

In AllStar you will here when another node connects with a female voice.

When you are finished with AllStar, please toggle repeater back to IRLP/Echolink - ready state.
