I got my license in August 1953 at age 14. I have been a dx'er all my years on as a ham. My friend W4ZRZ got me interested in vhf, uhf in August 2006. Instead of countries I now work new grids on 2, 6 and 70 cm. Also chase yl's on the air. Now have WAC-YL, 235 on YLCC and WAS-YL. At this time I need 15 more countries for DXCC-YL.

My equipment on hf is a FT-2000, Alpha 89 , 5 el on 15, 4 el on 20, both HyGains. 12, 17 and 30 Mosley 3el TA-33 XL, 40, 80, 160 inverted v's. I have 2 TS-2000 stations. First TS-2000 drives a Henry Tempo 6N2 for a kilowatt on 2 and 6 and a RF Concepts brick amp for 100 watts on 70 cm. Beams are M2 38 el on 70 cm, 17B2 on 2 meters and 6 el HyGain on 6 meters. The second TS2000 drives another Henry Tempo 6N2 to a M2 7 el 6 meter beam and a 10 el Cushcraft on 2.

All dx calls are entered into LOTW. For a stateside qsl please send a sase. Dx stations sae and $1.00. No irc's please. Local post office does not know what to do with them. Cards returned 99.9% in next days mail.

Do not use e-qsl and do not have enough turnover to use the bureau.
