Plank Owner and Crew member with both Blue and Gold Crew on board Nuclear Submarine USS George C. Marshall SSBN654. Special COMSEC assignment on Comsublant Staff, and several military bases in Pacific Islands.

US NAVY Qualified High Speed (35 WPM) CW Radio Operator.

Stationed on Okinawa, Guam and Philippines Islands. Operated with call signs: W4KMA/KG6, KR6DV, and KA6WS.

HAM Radio activity beginning in 1948. W4EY Extra class 1972.

Previous Call Signs: KN4DJG, W4KMA, K4DJG, W3DWM, KR6DV, KA6WS, W4EY and NAVY MARS NNN0BQZ

Present Radio in use is a FLEX 6500 using FLEX DAX and a Henry 3-KA Amp when needed.

The Antenna is a 40 Meter Wire Delta Loop with External Ground mounted Automatic Tuner at the LOOP Apex.

 Main modes of operation are Fldigi Digital, RTTY, and CW.
