I have been licensed since 1950. I have always had the same call except for a short stay in W3 land. When I was working as an engineer and chasing electrons all day, I was not interested in chasing electrons when at home, however, when I neared retirement my interest in ham radio was renewed. Since 1985 I have been quite active. My true love is CW. I try to have a QSO every morning while drinking the morning coffee. I love contests but am limited by severe antenna restrictions, but I do very well with my stealth antenna farm. My rig is a Kenwood TS480SAT. I love to use it with the computer interface. I still create CW the old way with my Bencher. (I cheat when calling CQ) I am always looking for a good old-fashioned rag chew. Last modified: 2011-01-23 03:04:01, 785 bytes cached
