Ham since highschool (1978). Was issued KA9CUB by the FCC. Pretty cool since I grew up in the Chicago area as a Cub fan!

Was inactive for many years, Now in Texas I am active again. still wanted to have the CUB in my call as I am still a Cub fan and I Enjoy flying a 1946 J-3 Piper Cub when I can find the time.

I enjoy DXing, Contesting, (not very good but Hey I can figure my score out in my head!) and ragchewing in between contests.

My station is a Ten Tec Jupiter and a hustler vertical. I still have my first rig a Ten Tec Century 21 (What a great little rig)

I enjoy QSLing and no SASE is required  I use LOTW also.
