Active as W5GAI since May 1954. Top of DXCC Honor Roll, DXer Chasing band countries, IOTA chaser, 6M DX and grid chaser, and casual contester.

Here's a view from the deck off the living room of the QTH in Carriere, MS, 50 miles NE of New Orleans, LA:

Currently no antennas here, so using several Internet Remote stations.

There are many remote stations available for listening and some to transmit from.

Download the client application at remotehams.com which is the one I prefer.

My first ever DXpedition was in October 2008 on the P29NI team operating from rare IOTA's OC-181 and OC-041.

We made over 10,000 QSO's, over 1,000 on 160M and a first ever P29 2/6M EME operation.

My 2nd DXpedition was June 9-14, 2011 to the Granada, Nicaragua QTH of Octavio YN2N and his XYL Martha with Madison W5MJ and Chuck W5PR.

We made a total of 3,454 QSO's.

Chuck/YN2PR made 550 6M QSO's in the ARRL VHF contest.

Madison/YN2MJ made 1,023 HF QSO's.

Skip/YN2GA made 1,866 HF QSO's and 15 on 6M.
