First licensed in Kansas as KN0UAX in 1959.

Fifty Two years in Ham Radio including serving as AF Mars Director for State of New Mexico ( 5 years) , Civil Air Patrol Reserve Assistance program Control Officer for 10 years. Many years experience in Emergency Services including 3 years as an EC and five  as assistant EC of Licking County Ohio. Level III ARES certification.

ARRL member, DXCC All modes, DXCC(mixed)-280, QCWA 50 continuous year member, AMSAT member, ARES member, and American Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteer, and volunteer with Lutheran Disaster Response Team.

Past President and current member of the Central Ohio Operators Klub Extra - Novice (COOKEN) Amateur Radio club and member of Newark Amateur Radio Association.
