Thanks for dropping by. I was first licensed in 1958 as kn5sek in Amarillo,Texas . After college and Law school I moved to Miami, Florida where I was K4HWW until 1976 when the xyl (Ann) , my two son's and I returned to Amarillo ,Texas where I practice law today. My call from 1976 until 1990 was W5VGX.

I love to work DX with frequency. (hi)

I have been dx contester since 1962. (quite a few certificates). Rig is ICOM 756PROIII (706 back up),and SB220 to a Hygain Explorer 14 @ 50 feet, two phased verticals on 40 and 80 meter top loaded vertical (35 radials) ,half sloper at 50 feet with 10 radials on160/80 I have a EDZ dipole inverted vees on 30 17 12 at 40'. I use AL 84 linear on 160. I have written much about my antennas on my webpage.(see link below)

I also am enthusiastic about my NVIS dipole on 40 meters at only 7 feet off ground with 6 ground reflectors and will explain more on my website. Awsome if you are in a mountain valley or deed restricted.

I use Rigbaster,HRD DM780 and Writelog. I am very active on all digi modes .I am FELD HELL member 1745 and do jt65 to relax. I'm in DM95ae and Potter County. 73 and good DX.
