Studied for Novice Ticket at the old Henry Radio in WLA and became WN6FTA. Belonged to the Ham Radio Club at University High in Los Angeles. Upgraded ticket and later assisted in operating several MARS Stations during 2 Tours in RVN, Guam and Hurricane Camille. Left Ham Radio after the Service and returned in June 2006. Glad to be back and looking forward to meeting many new friends.

Other hobbies include Motor Home Travel and Auto Racing. After many years of Driving in Pro Support Races for USAC, IRL, ALMS, NASCAR, in addition to SCCA Pro Racing Events, I have settled on continuing my racing at the Club level only in SCCA. I am also a two time Masters Champion in SCCA Pro Racing. Most memorable Race was LVMS on the Oval, we started last in a 48 Car field due to a pit Violation and took the car into 1st Place. Later, we were ganged up in the draft and finished 4th overall but was awarded the Red Line Oil Hard Charger Award. Drove on the Factory Team for 12 consecutive years in Pro and Club Racing Events.

Last year I was Regional Champion in the Formula Atlantic Class and finished 6th in National Points. This year we just won the 2006 Regional Championship again and finished 7th in National Points. Also, I was able to set 3 new National Track Records in the last 2 years, so we will go at it again next year.

Looking forward to many fun years ahead in Ham Radio. It always had many fine people in it and I look forward to talking with as many of you as I can. It continues to be the same great service and hobby it always was.
