PROFILE: I go by the nickname "Jack", and I was first licensed in 1959. Previous calls are: K3ION (Butler, PA), W8FBP (Columbus, OH),W0MRD (Colorado Springs, CO), NE7I (Scottsdale, AZ) and now W6QO, which I got when I lived in San Diego, CA. I now make my home in Denver, North Carolina, which is about 20 miles north of Charlotte. I'm a retired Reliability Engineer from Orbital Sciences in Chandler, AZ. I have a BSEE degree and a Professional Engineers (PE) license. I am a certified Reliability Engineer and certified Quality Engineer, by the American Society for Quality. My other hobbies are Bluegrass music (award winning banjo and "Dobro" player), fishing, camping, & investments, as well as antennas, homebrewing and other electronics projects. I am qualified to certify and stamp the structrual stress analysis for ham antenna towers in the state of Arizona, using my PE license. Please contact me if you have need of my services in order to obtain a building permit for your tower if you are in Arizona and your municipality requires it.
